Hyderabad: You never know who or what will end up becoming a meme on social media and the latest target of memers is the United States Senator Bernie Sanders.

The longest serving independent politician in United States’ history attended the US Presidential inauguration, eschewing the usual formal suit for a heavy winter jacket and patterned, hand-made mittens.

Sitting physically distanced from others and seeming like an average grumpy old man, hands folded, Sanders gave fuel to members who had a ball of a time on social media.
