Bajaj Hindustan Sugar appoints Vinod Chandulal Sampat as an Additional Director; Stock zooms 3%

Bajaj Hindustan Sugar's board has approved the appointment of Vinod Chandulal Sampat as an "Additional Director (Non‐Executive Independent Director)” on the Board of the Company.

The appointment has come into effect from January 21, 2021.

Sampat aged about 61 years, an Advocate is a wizard in the field of property-related laws. He started his career 30 years back as an individual practising lawyer and has been a litigation lawyer since then. Currently, he is the proprietor of Sampat’s Law Firm. He is also fondly also known as a property “pundit”.

He advises corporates and many multi-nationals, media houses, co-operative housing societies, eminent personalities of television and films in matters related to property. His expertise lies in co-operative housing societies, self redevelopment, RERA, consumer protection act, car parking, transfer of flats, recovery of dues etc.

At around 2.33 pm, Bajaj Hindustan Sugar was trading at Rs6.59 per piece up 3.13% on Sensex.
