A Jharkhand court has sought report from the state government regarding VVIP stay of Lalu Prasad Yadav in the jail. Now, the jail administration has to submit a report on why Lalu was kept in a bungalow instead of a hospital and who gave this VVIP stay order for him. The RJD chief is serving imprisonment after conviction in different fodder scam cases and he has been undergoing treatment for more than two years at Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi. Earlier, Yadav was shifted from the paying ward of RIMS to the hospital’s director’s bungalow and then back to the ward without having a standard operating procedure(SOP).
