Security and unity meet held

Imphal, January 21 2021: Troops of Assam Rifles organised a security and unity meet at Yaingangpokpi and Lilong today.

The benefits of ethnic harmony and inclusive development were emphasised on all present for lasting peace in the State during the event which was aimed at sensitising all the locals regarding the security measures to be implemented during the Republic Day week, said a statement issued by PRO Assam Rifles.

40 locals including village club members, Meira Paibis and police representatives attended the meet, added the statement.
