Covestro, one of the leaders in polymer materials, will share their experts’ insights & experience for INSQIN® in an exclusive webinar on 'Waterborne PU Technology for Textile Printing and Coating'. The Germany-headquartered company focuses on the manufacture of high-tech polymer materials and the development of innovative solutions for products used in many areas of daily life.

Waterborne polyurethane coatings make textile production safer and more eco-friendly. Functional clothing, fancy upholstery, robust car seats: there are many good reasons that speak for polyurethane (PU)-based textile coatings.

The webinar, organised by Fibre2Fashion is scheduled for Thursday, February 4 at 5.30 p.m. India time. Mary Ye and Thomas Dambacher from Covestro will discuss: sports and outdoor coating and printing industry trend exchange, popular technologies in the industry, chemical products used in the industry, case sharing, and INSQIN®  and product introduction from Covestro.

Ye is application development manager, Textile Coatings at Covestro. A graduate from China Textile University with Master's degree major in Textile Chemistry, Ye has 23 years of polyurethane and polyacrylate polymers textile coating and printing application experience.

Dambacher is Market Development & Technical Service EMLA and Laboratory manager at Covestro's Textile Coating Lab in Leverkusen, Germany. He has 32 years of experience in textile applications from textile auxiliary production and application and further to textile coating and printing applications.
