If you're looking for a new 4K TV with HDMI 2.1, then you'll be happy to know that the Vizio P-Series Quantum X 4K TV is on sale at B&H Photo Video. The 65-inch P-Series Quantum X is only $1,100 (down from $1,530) and comes with two HDMI 2.1 ports, making it a good fit for someone who owns or plans to own both the PS5 and Xbox Series X. It would also work well with Nvidia's new RTX 30 Series graphics cards, as these new GPUs also boast HDMI 2.1 capability.
65-inch Vizio P-Series Quantum X 4K TV
$1,100 (was $1,530)
The Vizio P-Series Quantum X boasts a Quantum Dot LED panel with a 4K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate as well as support for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG. It also has your typical smart TV functionality--Apple AirPlay, Chromecast, voice assistant control--and two extra HDMI 2.0 ports that would work well with a streaming device or 4K Blu-ray player.
The Vizio P-Series Quantum X was the subject of some ire from customers as it had issues with variable refresh rate and other gaming features with the PS5 and Xbox Series X--for example, VRR wouldn't work with the Series X. Vizio recently implemented a firmware update that improves VRR for the Xbox Series X as well as performance with other platforms. If you buy the P-Series Quantum X, make sure you connect to the internet and update its firmware before using it.
