Jammu Police arrests three habitual offenders

Jammu, Jan 21 (UNI) Police on Thursday arrested three habitual offenders in Gangyal area here on city outskirts.
Police said that on the intervening night of January 20-21, information was received regarding a gunshot incident near Rajan Bar Kunjwani in which three persons were involved.
Police team headed by Station House Officer, Gangyal, Raghubir Choudhary immediately rushed to the spot and arrested the accused persons identified as Tirlok Singh alias Ladi of Rohi, Babliana, Paramjeet Singh of village Katyal, Teh RS Pura and Jatinder Singh alias Nittu of Sainik Colony.
However, a case has been registered and investigation started.
“The weapon of offence (pistol) was recovered from the accused persons, who were habitual offenders and have already been booked under several FIRs in different police stations and further investigation of the case is going on,” Deputy Superintendent of Police, Purshotam Kumar Mengi, Sub Divisional Police Officer, Gandhi Nagar said.
