Charles Chileshe, a goalkeeper coach of Super League side Forest Rangers was suspended for bizarrely urinating on a goalpost before a match in Zambia.

Chileshe was sanctioned by the Zambian Football Association for unsporting conduct on 18 January after "sprinkling an unknown substance in goal and urinating or simulation of urinating against one of the goalposts" ahead of a game against Prison Leopards, a statement by the FA said.

Rangers said that they had additionally taken internal disciplinary action against Chileshe for his pre-match "muti" ritual.

The bizarre ritual didn't seem to have the desired effect as Rangers suffered a 2-0 defeat.
