TRICHY: Tangedco has announced suspension of power supply for parts of Trichy as it is taking up maintenance work at a few substations, including Srirangam substation, between 9.45am and 4pm on Friday.
Srirangam, Moolathoppu, Melur, Periyar Nagar, Ammamandapam, Veereswaram and Raghavendirapuram localities will not have power supply during the period.
Localities availing power from the main guard gate, Rockfort and Gandhi Market distribution circle – including Big Bazaar Street, Singarathope, EB Road, Kiladhar Street, Super Bazaar, Marakkadai and Kalla Street -- will not have power supply between 9.45 am and 4 pm on Friday.
In K Sathanur substation, similar maintenance is planned. Power supply will be suspended in KK Nagar, Khajamalai Colony, Sundar Nagar, LIC Colony, Mullai Nagar, Wireless road, JK Nagar, Mannarpuram and Simco Colony too.
