5 days skill development training programme

CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore is organising a skill development training programme in food processing at Imphal.

The training programme is sponsored by the Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), Govt. of India. A brief information of the training programme is as follows:

Title of the training programme: Value Additions to Fruits, Vegetables, and Spices

Duration and Dates: 5 days (4th to 8th Jan. 2021)
Venue:
Institute of Cooperative Management Imphal (ICM)
Cooperative Complex Lamphelpat Imphal 795004
Opposite to Department of Commerce and Industries

Targeted participants: Entrepreneurs, farmers, students, SHGs, NGOs, etc. who are interested in food processing as a business. Preference will be given to those who are registered under APEDA and those already in the food processing fields.

Teaching Faculty: A team of CSIR-CFTRI scientists from Mysore will conduct the theory, practical and demonstration of value added products from the locally grown raw materials.

No. of seats: 30-32
Mode of selection: Participants from Manipur will be selected through application and virtual interview.
Registration/ Training Fee: Free of cost
Training certificate: Course completion certificate will be given to the training participants
Food: Session tea and session lunch will be provided during the course
Lodging & Transport : Those participants who come from far places will be provided
