According to recent reports, Matt Damon has arrived in Australia to film Thor: Love and Thunder. The movie’s star Chris Hemsworth has now confirmed via Instagram that Thor: Love and Thunder begins filming this week.
Hemsworth will be joined by Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Christian Bale as Gorr the Butcher, Chris Pratt as Star Lord, and Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie. Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi will return to direct Thor: Love and Thunder. Waititi will also reprise his role of Korg in the movie.
Waititi previously talked about the script of Thor: Love and Thunder. He said, “We've been writing the script off and on for over a year, and this week I'm doing another pass on it. It is so insane. It's also very romantic. I'm into romances now. I just want to make a romance. I want to make something I've never done or never cared for. I would like to attack something like that.”
