The Indian photo in Apple's 'best' photos from iPhone 12 series
Every year Apple releases its ‘Shot on iPhone’ series images a couple of months after iPhones are launched. This year is no different except in one sense. This year’s shot on iPhone images include one clicked by an Indian photographer.

According to a newsroom post on Apple’s website, “photographers around the world are using iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max to capture stunning images of cityscapes, landscapes, people, and more, from day to night.”

Amongst these images shared by photographers and users is an image clicked by Rohit Vohra. The image is a portrait shot using an iPhone 12 Pro Max.

The images shared by Apple do not have any caption or comment except the location. The images shared are from all over the world — US, Japan, France, Kuwait, Turkey among others.

All the images have been clicked on the iPhone 12 series only. The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini feature a dual-camera system with an ultra-wide camera and a wide camera with an ƒ/1.6 aperture. Apple claims that it provides 27 percent more light for improved photos and videos in low-light environments. Both models also introduce new computational photography features, which include Night mode and faster-performing Deep Fusion on all cameras, for improved photos in any environment.

Being the more expensive and powerful of the iPhones, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max have ultra-wide, wide, and telephoto camera. iPhone 12 Pro Max has the most powerful cameras with a 65 mm focal length Telephoto camera for increased flexibility and 5x optical zoom range, as well as an advanced wide camera boasting a 47 percent larger sensor with 1.7μm pixels for a massive 87 percent improvement in low-light conditions. A LiDAR Scanner also unlocks advanced capabilities for Pro models, including up to 6x faster autofocus in low-light scenes and the introduction of Night mode portraits.
