A source is speaking out about how often Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas still speak after their breakup.

“Ben and Ana‘s friendship has not ended,” a source told People about the 48-year-old actor and 32-year-old actress. “They still talk regularly.”

Since their breakup, “he has been with the kids a lot. Ben continues to work on himself.”

The pair initially met while working on the film Deep Water together in 2019. They were first romantically linked in early 2020. Their breakup was announced this week and a source revealed why they ended the relationship.

“Their relationship was complicated,” another source added. “Ana doesn’t want to be Los Angeles-based, and Ben obviously has to since his kids live in Los Angeles.”
