Citrix buys cloud work management company Wrike for USD 2.25 billion

Citrix Systems has agreed to acquire Wrike, provider of SaaS collaborative work management solutions, from Vista Equity Partners for USD 2.25 billion in cash. The deal will combine Citrix's workspace delivery platform with Wrike's SaaS work management platform to help improve employee productivity. Citrix will fund the deal using a combination of new debt and existing cash and investments, with the transaction expected to close in 1st-half 2021.
