Goa Carbon resumes operations at Paradeep Unit in Odisha

The operations of the unit were temporarily shut-down for maintenance work from January 11, 2021.

Goa Carbon Limited (GCL) has resumed operations at the company’s Paradeep Unit located at Vill, Udayabata, Paradeepgarh, in Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha.

“The Kiln has been lit up from today. After preliminary heat up and commencement of feeding of raw material, normal production is likely to resume shortly,” the company said in a regulatory filing on Monday.

The operations of Paradeep Unit in Odisha were temporarily shut-down for maintenance work from January 11, 2021.

Goa Carbon Ltd ended at Rs271 per piece up by Rs6.9 or 2.61% from its previous closing of Rs264.10 per piece on the BSE.
