The Utah Department ofd Health reported another seven deaths from COVID-19 Tuesday as the number of Utahns hospitalized in intensive care units rose slightly.
Vaccinations reported in past day/total vaccinations • 3,695 / 172,603.
Cases reported in past day • 1,302.
Deaths reported in past day • 7.
Hospitalizations reported in past day • 573. That’s up five from Monday. Of those currently hospitalized, 216 are in intensive care units — two more than on Monday.
Tests reported in past day • 4,961.
Percentage of positive tests • 26.24%. This is higher than the seven-day average of 19.9%.
Totals to date • 326,221 cases; 1,507 deaths; 12,645 hospitalizations; 1,911,870 tests.
