Adipurush starring Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan starts with motion capture on 19th January 2021. The movie marks the first straight Bollywood film of Prabhas. The director and his team is claiming to create an entire world of Adipurush with the latest technology, commonly used in international cinema but will be explored in Indian filmmaking for the first time. The film is produced by bhushan kumar, krishan kumar of T-Series & Om Raut, prasad Sutar & Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. Adipurush Muhurath will take place on 2nd february 2021. T Series is bankrolling Adipurush with an estimated budget of Rs 450 crore.


Adipurush is based on Epic Ramayana and ali KHAN' target='_blank' title='saif ali khan-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>saif ali khan will be seen as Ravana - the Villain. Saif will be shown as 9-feet in the film using VFX. The movie is going to release on 11th august 2022 as an Independence day weekend special. It is a thursday Release. prabhas will be shuttling between the shoots of this film and his other film, Salaar. Salaar and Radhe shyam will release this year itself. This is the first time after 2009 prabhas will be having two films releasing in a single year.
