Matt Damon had a cameo in Thor: Ragnarok and the actor is seemingly returning in Thor: Love and Thunder. As reported by Deadline, Damon recently arrived in Sydney, Australia and he is currently going through mandatory quarantine ahead of the shoot.
Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has said, “Hollywood superstar Matt Damon joining our homegrown talent to film such a major movie in NSW is a big win creating thousands of jobs for locals.” According to CNET, Damon told the local press, “I'm so excited that my family and I will be able to call Australia home for the next few months. Australian film crews are world-renowned for their professionalism and are a joy to work with so the 14 days of quarantine will be well worth it.”
It’s currently unclear whether Damon will be doing another cameo or playing a bigger role in Thor: Love and Thunder. The movie is expected to begin filming in the coming weeks.
