More News19 Jan 2021 | 2:15 AMBhopal, Jan 18 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday apprised Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Harsh Vardhan of the paucity of medical facilities within Bundelkhand region and urged that infirmaries be established in Chhatarpur and Damoh on the lines of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
During the interaction at the central leader’s New Delhi workplace, the visiting politician was officially quoted as saying, “A medical college is required in Seoni District. My dispensation has commenced proceedings in this connection. Instead of handing over the hospital constructed for gas tragedy victims to the Indian Council of Medical Research, the facility should be entrusted to the AIIMS, Bhopal.”
