HP: Met Office forecasts rain or snowfall from Jan 23

Shimla, Jan 19 (UNI) Based on the current weather conditions, it is expected that light rain or snowfall likely to occur across Himachal Pradesh from January 23, as per the prediction of Indian Meteorological Centre on Tuesday.
There will be foggy weather conditions in the morning and the day will have adequate sunlight, it said.
The snowfall from Saturday in mid and high reaches is likely to end the month-long dry spell in the state.
Minimum temperature was nearly normal as Keylong in Lahaul Spiti recorded minus nine degrees and two degrees above normal. Kalpa in Kinnuar was minus 2.8 degrees, Solan 3.4 degrees Manali 0.4 degrees, Sundernagar 2.3 degrees , Mandi one degrees and Bhuntar 0.1 degrees.
Tourist resort Dalhousie four degrees, Chamba 2.8 degrees, Kangra 5.5 degrees, Dharamshala 4.9 degrees, Una 6.9 degrees, Shimla 5.3 degrees and Kufri 2 degrees, Hamirpur 5.2 degrees, Bilaspur five degrees and Nahan in Sirmaur 10.9 degrees.
The Met office predicted dry weather in the next 24 hours in the state with formation of fog in the wee hours in the foothills.
