'Master' producer seeks compensation for illegally leaked footage

'Master' makers' great decision of releasing the film in theaters amidst the pandemic situation received applause, and the film is grossing great numbers at the box office. But a few clips from the film were leaked a day ahead of the film release and the action didn't go down well with the makers and fans. Now, the latest report is that the 'Master' producer has decided to seek compensation for illegally leaked footage. A few clips from 'Master' were released by an employee from a renowned digital company, when the film copy was submitted to transfer it abroad. Accordingly, the makers found out the person and a police complaint was filed against the digital company and the employee. Now, 'Master' co-producer Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen studio has reportedly sent a notice to the private organization seeking compensation of Rs 25cr for the mishap.
