Tata Motors stock spurts over 3% after bulk deal; denies rumours of partnership with Tesla

The company's stock was trading at Rs255.50 per piece up by 3.88% on the NSE.

Tata Motors stock is trading higher by 3.88% at Rs255.50 per piece on the NSE on Tuesday.

After rumors of a strategic partnership with Tesla hit the town, the company's stocks gained.

However, Tata Motors released a note clarifying such rumours and said, "Tata Motors has not taken any decision regarding a strategic partner for its PV business and categorically denies any and all rumours suggesting the same”.

On Monday's bulk trading session on the National Stock Exchange, Jump Trading Financial India Private Limited sold 1,65,15,422 shares of TaMo at Rs249.35 per piece.

The trading financials company then bought the same number of shares at a price of Rs249.24 per piece.
