A statement uploaded on the company's website said that the vaccine for covaxine is also prohibited for pregnant and lactating women. Earlier, a statement from the government said that patients who have poor immunity can also get the Kovid vaccine. However, the effect on such people has been seen relatively less during the vaccine trial.
