Imphal, January 17 2021: W Basu Singh, Superintendent of Police, NAB has appealed to the general public not to give shelter to Md Noor Hassan @ Imran (25), s/o Md Hesallulah of Bengoon Mayai Leikai and his family members and people associated with them.

In a press release, the SP informed that Md Noor Hassan and his family members namely Md Hesallulah (father), Amu (mother), Md Nurul Islam @ Michaobi (brother), Md Nurul Huda (brother), Md Noor Alam, Md Rahiz and other associates are suspected to be involved in an attempt to burn the house of Pusham Themba (38) s/o P Rahimmuddin of Bengoon Yangbi Mayai Leikai after locking the doors from outside on January 5, 2021 .

After the offence, the accused person, his family members and their associates have absconded, said the SP and further appealed to the public to contact Superintendent of Police, Imphal West (9612759705/ 9436027995); Addl SP (L&O), Imphal West (9612459423); Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Mayang Imphal (9862707085); Officer-in-Charge, Mayang Imphal PS (8974405567) or SP Control Room, Imphal West (6009030422/ 0385-2450214) in case they have any information or whereabouts of the absconders.

Any person who gives shelter to the accused and his associates knowingly shall be liable for necessary legal action under the provisions of law, the SP warned.
