US, Canada sign cross-border spectrum coordination deal

The US and Canada have signed a deal to implement a modernised framework for cross-border radio frequency spectrum coordination along their border, after almost two decades of negotiations. This Transitional Arrangement with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) makes possible the provisional application of the new General Coordination Agreement which the two countries signed on 12 and 13 January, the FCC announced.
