Shah said the BJP government led by Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa has also left no stone unturned in farmer welfare.
Direct target on congress
Taking a dig at the Congress, Shah said that depositing six thousand rupees every year in the accounts of farmers, initiatives like Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana was not done by the UPA because their intentions were not clear. The Modi government is dedicated to farmers, so all three brought new agricultural laws. This will double the income of farmers and improve the condition of the Annadata.
