Hyderabad: National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) Deputy Managing Director KV Shaji on Monday appreciated the functioning of Cyber Security Operations Centre (C-SOC), which is being implemented by Telangana State Cooperative Apex Bank (TSCAB) Limited. During his visit to TSCAB, Shaji advised officials to provide necessary guidance and support for development of other Cooperative Banks, especially in North- Eastern States of the country, a press release said.
Shaji highlighted the remarkable performance in bringing down the Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) of the bank from 5.94 per cent as on April, 2015 to 0.17 per cent on March, 2020. Chief General Manager, NABARD, YK Rao said that NABARD will facilitate the activities of TSCAB and support its growth. The TSCAB should also take the lead in strengthening other cooperatives in the country, he said.
The president of TSCAB and Karimnagar DCCB, Konduru Ravinder Rao welcomed Shaji and other senior officials from NABARD. YK Rao, CGM, NABARD, TSRO, Hyderabad and JS Upadhyaya, GM, NABARD, Hyderabad, Gongidi Mahender Reddy, vice-president, TSCAB, Board of Directors of TSCAB and Dr. Nethi Muralidhar, Managing Director, TSCAB were present.
