Rs 1 cr  each for MLAs constituency  development released: Govardhan Reddy

Tirupati, Jan 18 (UNI) The Chairman of the Privileges Committee of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Kakani Govardhan Reddy has said that Rs 1 crore each for MLAs constituency development was released.



The second meeting of the Privileges committee of the Andhra Pradesh legislative Assembly was held here on Monday under the chairmanship of Mr Kakani Govardhan Reddy.



Speaking on the occasion Mr Govardhan Reddy said that it was the duty of the committee to uphold the privilege of the legislators. He said so far no complaints were filed for any in Chittoor district.



He said the Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy had released Rs 1 crore for constituency development activities to each and every legislator from the CMDF.



The committee members Malladi Vishnu, S Venkata Chinna Appalanaidu, V Varaprasada Rao, Shilpa Chakrapani , APIIC chairperson and district MLA Ms Roja and District Collector Dr Narayan Bharat Gupta, Madanapalle Sub- Collector Jahnavi, District Joint Collector (welfare) Rajasekhar, DRO Murali, Tirupati and Chittoor RDOs and other officials were present.
