NR cancels 2 special trains till Jan 21

Jaito, Jan 18 (UNI) Northern Railways (NR) has canceled two special express trains till Jan
21 and also enforced partial cancellations and route changes in view of farmers' agitation in Punjab.

An official spokesperson of NR said here Monday that among the trains that have been canceled,
train number 05211/05212 Darbhanga-Amritsar Express special starting on 19 January will be canceled.
He said the train no. 02715 Nanded-Amritsar Express JCO will end in Chandigarh on Jan 19. Train No. 02716 Amritsar-Nanded Express JCO will run from Chandigarh on Jan 21 and will remain partially canceled between Chandigarh-Amritsar-Chandigarh.

Train number 08237 Korba-Amritsar Express will end at JCO Ambala on Jan 19. 08238 Amritsar-Korba Express JCO will run from Ambala on Jan 21 and will remain partially canceled between Ambala-Amritsar-Ambala.

Trains which have been diverted:
Train No 02903/02904 Mumbai Central-Amritsar-Mumbai Centeral Express Special JCO, Train No 02925/02926 Bandra Terminus- Amritsar- Bandra Terminus Express Special, Train No. 04649 Jaynagar-Amritsar Express Special JCO, Train No. 04651 Amritsar-Jaynagar Express Special JCO,
Train No. 02054/02053 Amritsar-Haridwar-Amritsar Express Special JCO via Beas-Tarn Taran-Amritsar while Train no. 08309 Sambalpur-Jammu Tuvi Express Special JCO will be diverted to run
via Jalandhar Cantt, Mukerian, Pathankot Cant, Train No. 03005 Howrah-Amritsar Express Special JCO will be diverted to run via Beas-Tarn Taran-Amritsar.
