Panaji: There were no Covid
deaths for the seventh day this month. Sunday saw a total of 60
new cases. The positivity rate stood at 4.9%. Thirty four new patients were hospitalised and 23 opted for home isolation. There were 59 recoveries taking the recovery rate to 96.88%. The death rate and active
cases have been on the decline. Health officials said they had expected a spike in cases post the festive season with tourists coming in, but were relieved this didn't happen.
