After the promo of the web series, Tandava went viral on the social media platform, many types of comments are being made. SSI Amarnath Yadav, posted at Hazratganj police station, has sued Amazon's original content head Aparna Purohit in the case, including series director Ali Abbas Zafar. It is alleged that the release of this series may provoke sentiments of the community.
