Cricketer Virat Kohli sure is over the moon about the arrival of his first child with actress Anushka Sharma. Virat, who is presently on paternity leave, has now taken to Twitter to change his bio celebrating the birth of his baby girl. His new bio reads, 'A proud husband and father'. Isn't that the sweetest thing you've seen on social media in a while? For the unversed, Indian captain Virat Kohli returned home from Australia, missing the last three Tests of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy as he went on paternity leave. On January 11, he became a proud father with the arrival of his daughter. The elated father even took to social media to break the good news with his followers. His post, shared in Hindi and English both, read as 'We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes.' It further read, 'Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time.' Earlier in an interview, Anushka opened up about how she and Virat plan on raising their kid. The actress said that she will teach her child to be respectful towards everyone. Anushka said that she will be imparting the same education that she got from her parents. She said, 'Love is the underlying factor in our home, and what’s important to us is that our child be respectful of people. You have to create that value structure. We don’t want to raise brats.' She said that she and Virat would keep their baby away from social media. She added, 'We don’t plan on engaging our child in social media. I think it’s a decision your child should be able to take. No kid should be made to be more special than the other. It’s hard enough for adults to deal with it. It's going to be difficult, but we intend to follow through.' For the same, the couple sent out gift boxes accompanied with a note to the paparazzi fraternity in Mumbai requesting them not to click pictures of their baby girl. The new parents also requested photographers not to take or carry any content pertaining to their daughter.
