
India vs Australia (IND vs AUS) 4th Test Day 5 Highlights: India chased down 328 in the fourth innings to win the 4th Test vs Australia and claim the series 2-1.
A counter-attack from Shubman Gill (91) set up a thrilling hour of play on either side of the Lunch break, before Ajinkya Rahane joined Cheteshwar Pujara. Rishabh Pant (89*) was promoted to Number 5 as India looked to go for the win in the afternoon session. At Tea, India were 183/3, needing 146 to win in the final session. Pujara, after weathering numerous blows to the body, was given out LBW on umpire’s call for 56. Pant carried on India’s charge towards a historic win in the last hour of the Test, hitting the winning runs with minutes remaining before close of play. Australia had not lost a Test at the Gabba in 32 years before this.

Pant and Siraj are engulfed by an onrushing crowd of Indian players. So many heroes have stood up for India in this series. Pant hits a four down the ground. India win. India win the 4th Test by 3 wickets. India have won a series in Australia. They win this 2-1. The second consecutive time India win a series in Australia.
Pant pulls for another 4. Just 6 runs to get. Pant goes for the glory shot, skies it, but the ball lands short of the fielder.A single taken. Shardul on strike. He goes for a swing of the bat as well. A single turned into a double with some quick running. Shardul then skies a shot and is caught.

Washington Sundar is out in an attempt to play a reverse sweep. Sundar goes after a valuable 22. Shardul comes in at 8 to join Pant. India need 10 more runs to win in 4.1 overs
Australia concede an overthrow. Show how out of sorts this final assault has pushed them to becoming. Sundar has to put in a dive to make his ground. This match might be being played in whites, but this has all the makings of a T20 match now. Four leg byes as Sundar finds the third man fence.

Pant is going berserk! Lyon bowls the 7th last over. A ramp for four off the first ball. A smash that races to the midwicket fence like a rocket off the second ball. 6,4,0,4,4 in last 5 balls by Sundar and Pant. Four byes to follow. Australia are losing the plot. Sundar and Pant are going for the jugular with the last few minutes of the Test to go.

Six! A six over fine leg. Touches of the Nataraja shot in the pose Sundar holds after the shot. This chase is on! A four slashed to third man. Four!

Cummins bowls a maiden over to Washington Sundar. What a performance this has been from the Aussie pacer. Lyon continues from the other end, Pant takes a few whacks at the ball but misses the ball, which is now spitting up off the pitch like an Australian rattlesnake.

Washington Sundar comes in at 7. Crunches his first boundary with a drive down the ground.

Australia burn a Review as they appeal for Mayank to be caught behind off Cummins. There was no edge, Replays show, and the hosts have just 1 Review remaining. But the next ball does get a wicket. Mayank hits a return catch straight to Wade at cover. India's historic charge faces another big bump. He goes for 9.

The last hour of the Test begins with the umpire signalling to his watch. 15 overs or 1 hour - whichever is done fast. India need 69 runs to win. The possibility of an Australian win seems to have gone up in smoke. Pant sweeps Lyon for four more. 'Stop what you're doing,' Harsha Bhogle sums up the situation.

Pant slashes another shot through the off side. Three runs. Gets to his 50 off 100 balls. Mayank, on 5 off 7 balls, goes up to his partner and gives him a pat on the helmet. Muted celebrations from Pant, he knows the real battle is yet to be won. The drizzle has abated now. The Gods too want to see this match to the end.

The runs start coming again! Four byes run past Paine. Pant then crunches a drive for another four. Cummins gets the ball to leave Mayank's bat with a few outswingers.

The second new ball is taken. India need exactly 100 more to win in the 20-odd overs that remain. Cummins takes the new ball as Australia look to break open the door. And he does! Pujara is given out LBW to an inswinger. India Review. Ball Tracking shows the ball would have clipped the bails. Umpire's call! Pujara 56 is gone! The umpire did him in when nobody else could.

Drops of rain at the Gabba. Just when you thought things could not get any more complicated in this Test! A few drops of rain filter through the clear skies in Brisbane. And the drizzle intensifies!

Pujara's 50 came off 196 balls, the slowest Test 50 of his career. 24 overs are left. India need 104 to win. Australia need 7 wickets. The second new ball is coming up soon. India's strategy, a matter of much speculation at the moment, seems to be to go for the kill after giving the second new ball a few overs to wear down.

Australia bring on Labuschagne in the 74th over. Pujara looks to make the most of the part-timer, cuts him for four, gets to his 50.
