First Brazilian patient vaccinated against COVID-19 in Sao Paulo

Brasilia, Jan 18(Sputnik) The first Brazilian patient has been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Sao Paulo following the approval of the vaccines by AstraZeneca and Sinovac by the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (Anvisa), the G1 news website reported Sunday.
According to the news outlet, the first vaccinated person is a 54-year-old nurse, who was inoculated with Sinovac's CoronaVac vaccine.
Earlier, the regulator refused to grant Brazilian pharmaceutical company Uniao Quimica authorization for the emergency use of Russia's Sputnik V vaccine.

Dhaka, Jan 17 (UNI) Foreign Minister of Bangladesh Dr. A.K Abdul Momen has called for making films depicting the plights of Rohingyas, who being persecuted in Myanmar, have been forced to take shelter in Bangladesh.
He came up with the remarks while addressing the 19th Dhaka International Film Festival as the chief guest.
The Film Festival was organized by the Rainbow Film Society.
