Two coaches of Shaheed Express derail near Lucknow railway station after decoupling

The incident took place at 7.43am between Dilkusha cabin and Lucknow station yard.
LUCKNOW: Two coaches, including an AC three-tier of Shaheed Express got derailed within minutes of departure from Lucknow's Charbagh railway station on Monday morning.
No injuries have been reported as of yet. The train was heading to Jaynagar from Amritsar via Lucknow.
The incident took place at 7.43am between Dilkusha cabin and Lucknow station yard.

According to sources, coaches B1 and D5, which were just four coaches away from locomotive engine derailed.

"The train had just departed from Charbagh railway station and was heading towards Barabanki at slow pace, when suddenly we felt jolt and few passengers fell off their berth," said Raja Babu (26) who was returning to Muzaffarpur from Ludhiana in B1 coach.
(No injuries were reported in the accident)
"None were injured, but passengers got panicked. The train had spilt into two parts, the first few coaches along with engine had moved ahead, while two coaches including in which I was traveling had detailed. By 8.15am, railway staff came to the spot," he added further.
The railway rescue team was preparing to take the train back to Charbagh railway station.
No railway official of Lucknow division northern railway shared any information about reasons behind the derailment.
