Opposition congress in Tripura has called for 12 hour bandh on Monday

Tripura Pradesh Congress Vice-President Tapas Dey alleged that Biswas was attacked by BJP supporters at Bishalgarh in western Tripura’s Sepehijala district on Saturday.

Guwahati: Opposition congress in Tripura has called for 12 hour bandh on Monday. The party has called the bandh to protest alleged attack on state party President Pijush Biswas.

BJP has condemned the attack and sought probe. It has requested congress to call off the bandh.

Tripura Pradesh Congress Vice-President Tapas Dey alleged that Biswas was attacked by BJP supporters at Bishalgarh in western Tripura’s Sepehijala district on Saturday.

The Congress has filed an FIR. Tripura BJP’s Chief Spokesman Subrata Chakraborty while talking to the media condemned the attack on Biswas and demanded an impartial inquiry.
