Rajanna-Sircilla: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao responded swiftly to a news report on Boora Sircilla Rajeshwari, a differently-abled writer from Sircilla town, and instructed the Education department officials to consider inclusion of Rajeshwari’s story in the State education curriculum.
Rajeshwari’s story was incorporated as a lesson in second language (Telugu) in the Intermediate second year syllabus of Maharashtra education curriculum from this academic year.
The Minister, tagging a Telangana Today report on Rajeshwari published in its Sunday’s edition, tweeted: “Proud that the gritty story of Rajeshwari, a differently abled writer from Sircilla is inspiring MH youngsters. Request Sabithaindra (TRS) Garu and TS Education Department Special Chief Secretary Chitra Ramchandran to consider including such real life inspirational stories in Telangana education curriculum.”
