Avinash Sachdev popular for his role of Shlok Agnihotri from Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon Ek Baar Phir is all set to tie the knot with his actress girlfriend, Palak Purswani. The two have been dating one another for about three years now. In 2019, they even participated in the dance-based reality TV show, Nach Baliye 9. After dating for 3 years, Avinash and Palak have decided to take their relationship to next level. Yes, you heard that right. As per a report in ETimes, Avinash Sachdev and Palak Purswani are planning to tie the knot in early 2022. However, Kacchi Misri (a Sindhi pre-wedding ritual) took place on Friday which is like the formal beginning. As per the report in ETimes, the couple hosted a small get-together for friends which was attended by Jiya Shankar, Sanaya Pithawala, Abhinav Kapoor, Bijay Anand and Gurpreet Bedi, among others. Talking about the Kacchi Misri ritual, Palak told the portal, "The kacchi misri ceremony is basically an official green signal from the families. Soon after the ceremony, I started addressing Avinash’s parents as mom and dad. It feels surreal and Avi and I can’t wait to begin this exciting new chapter of our lives." She added that they will tie the knot in the first half of 2022. "We haven’t decided upon the wedding date, but the preparations have begun. We shall have our roka ceremony soon in Nagpur." Avinash Sachdev went down on his knees to ask Palak Purswani to marry him. He recalled the same, saying, "We started out as friends. Apart from the fact that we both belong to Sindhi community, we learnt that we have many similar interests and food choices. So, we began to hang out together. When I realised that it is more than friendship, I straightaway told Palak – ‘I love you. But you don’t have to feel pressured to reciprocate if you don’t feel the same’. Palak had shared a picture from their Kacchi Misri on her social media handle. "Excited for this life with you! I said yes to forever," she wrote while we see Avinash kissed her forehead. Check out her post below:
