Ningtham Kumei begins

Imphal, January 16 2021: A 4-day festival of dance drama Ningtham Kumhei began today at the auditorium of Jawaharlal Nehru Manipuri Dance Academy (JNMDA), Khuyathong.

The festival is being organised by JNMDA.

The inaugural ceremony of the festival was participated by JNMDA former Vice Chairman, Prof H Tombi and JNMDA Pradhan Guru (retd), M Kaminikumar as functional presidents.

On the opening day, artists of Production Unit JNMDA performed a dance drama "Bhagavadajjukam" directed and choreographed by N Surendrajit.

The festival is being organised to celebrate the 45th year of the Production Unit, JNMDA.
