How to Access

To access the Media Manager in Joomla! 4.x:

From the Control Panel (Joomla! Administrator main page)

• Log on to the Joomla! Administrator.
• Select the Media tile from the Content module (see Screenshot 1 below).

From the Sidebar menu (anywhere in Joomla! 4.x)

• Log on to the Joomla! Administrator.
• If the sidebar menu to the left is minimized, click either the Toggle Menu icon (see #1 in Screenshot 2 below) or the Content icon (see #2 in Screenshot 2 below) from the sidebar menu to expand the menu.
• Under Content, select Media (see Screenshot 3 below).

Description

Media Manager is a core function of Joomla! that allows you to upload files to the images/ folder within the Joomla! root directory. With Media Manager, you can upload files, edit images, delete files, and create subdirectories of the images/ folder. The Media Manager interface is shown in Screenshot 4 below.
