BJP Yuva Morcha activists protest against removal of 'Namaste Sambhajinagar' sign board in Aurangabad

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Jan 16 (UNI) The activists of Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha staged a demonstration at Hudco locality here on Saturday to protest against the civic administration's action of removal of 'Namaste Sambhajinagar' sign board in front of the statue of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.
Since last couple of days a poster war was seen across the city over the issue of change of name of Aurangabad as Sambhajinagar.
AIMIM has put 'Love Aurangabad' banners at all places in the city, whereas the ruling Shiv Sena has put but banners of 'Super Sambhajinagar' and opposition BJP that of 'Namaste Sambhajinagar'.
The activists, led by city chief Sanjay Kenekar, MLA Atul Save and MP Dr Bhagwat Karad, along with women's wing activists, held demonstration at TV Centre chowk to protest against action of the civic authorities.
They also raised slogans against the ruling MVA government.
