Tengnoupal, January 15 2021: A combined team of district police Tengnoupal, NAB, and Forest Department led by Th Vikramjit Singh, SP Tengnoupal and W Basu, SP NAB destroyed around 40 acres of illicit poppy plantation at the hill ranges of Henjang village under Machi police station.

An FIR regarding the destruction has been taken up.

The destruction drive will continue for two weeks and will cover other areas under the jurisdiction of Tengnoupal police station, reports our correspondent.

Th Krishnatombi, Addl SP (Ops) Tengnoupal, RK Saklemba, Addl SP-NAB, Amit, Addl SP (Ops) Moreh, DK Angrung, OC Machi police station and Inspector Bobby, OC NAB police station also took part in the drive.
