MUMBAI: Bollywood got a shock when we heard about the unfortunate demise of the superstar Rishi Kapoor, the actor who was filming his last movie titled, Sharmaji Namkeen.
And now actor Paresh Rawal is on board to take further the portions of the late actor, and the makers have decided to release the movie in theatres on late Rishi Kapoor’s birthday, September 4.

Sharmaji Namkeen is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar in association with MacGuffin Pictures and has been directed by debutante Hitesh Bhatia. This film is a light-hearted coming-of-age story of a lovable 60-year-old man. The makers and team of ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ are ready to resume shooting soon.
Later Rishi Kapoor was last seen in a thriller titled, “Body” with Emraan Hashmi, and on the other hand, Paresh Rawal was seen in the remake version of Coolie no 1 premiered on OTT.
