Mushroom training program at Langmeidong on 12th January, 2021

A Mushroom training program on cultivation of mushroom technology was sponsored by Leiyaibi Memorial Trust, Langmeidong. The program was organized by Okho Trust, Langmeidong with Uchol Nupi Lup, Imphal East in collaboration with Rama Foundation, Nagamapal RIMS Road on 12 January, 2021 at the residence of H. Ratankumari of Uchol Mayai Leikai.

The program was inaugurated by the presidium members as Shri. Th. Ngouba Singh(president), chairman of Leiyaibi Memorial Trust, S. Rajendra Kumar(chief guest), Managing Director of RAMA Foundation, and Ratankumari Heikhrujam (Special Guest of honour), Secy Apunba Nupi Lup UCHOL, and E. Premananda Meitei( guest of honour), Secy. Of the Leiyaibi Memorial Trust.

In the training program resource person Mr. Soram Rajendra Kumar, Regional achiever awardee delivered a talk on scientific methods of mushroom cultivation, diseases, poisonous mushrooms, marketing and financial assistance etc.. At the training programme an awareness and health checkup in relation with covid-19 was included, mushroom spawns and certificates were also distributed.

Furthermore, RAMA Foundation will be organising another training program on cultivation of mushroom technology and spawn production on 16 January, 2021 any interested individual /organisation /SHGs or farmer’s club may submit their bio-data before 16 January, 2021 at the office of Rama Foundation at Nagamapal RIMS Road or contact at 8787734452 for more detail.
