Western Railway to run daily train from Mumbai to Statue of Unity from January 17

MUMBAI: Western Railway (WR) will provide direct train connectivity between Mumbai and Kevadiya where the Statue of Unity is located from January 17.
WR spokesperson said, "Train No. 12927/28 superfast Express which was running till Vadodara, has been extended up to Kevadiya and will now run as Train No. 02927/28 Dadar-Kevadiya Superfast Express."
As a regular service, Train No. 02927 Dadar-Kevadiya Superfast Express will depart Dadar daily from January 17 at 11:50 pm and will reach Kevadiya at 7:25 am, the next day.
Similarly, Train No. 02928 Kevadiya-Dadar Superfast Express will depart Kevadiya daily from January 17 at 9:25 pm and will reach Dadar at 5.30 am, the next day.
The train will halt at Borivali, Valsad, Surat, Bharuch and Vadodara Jn., station in both directions. Train no. 02927 will also halt at Vishwamitri station.
The train comprises of First AC, AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and Second Class seating coaches.
On it inaugural run, train will leave from Dadar at 11.12 am on January 17 and will reach Kevadiya at 6.42 pm, the same day.
