11th Drivers Day observed

Thoubal, January 14 2021: All Sangaiyumpham Tata Magic Driver Union, Sangaiyumpham observed 11th Drivers Day at Sangaiyumpham Community Hall in Thoubal district, today.

At the event, under-secretary Transport, Dr Mayengbam Veto said that the service being rendered by drivers to the people, especially during Covid pandemic time is praiseworthy.

Dr Veto also encouraged the drivers by talking about the various welfare schemes taken up by the Government for them.

The union also presented simple gifts to different drivers.

Sangaiyumpham Zilla Parishad Member, Md Hibjur Rahaman, Sangaiyumpham Part-II GP Nominee Pradhan Md Wahidur Rahaman and social worker Menjor also attended the observance.
