    Guar Seed futures decline on low demand

    Synopsis

    Guar seed contracts for January delivery was trading at Rs 3,896, down by Rs 18, or 0.46 per cent per 10 quintal with an open interest of 2,380 lots.

    For February delivery, the futures prices decreased Rs 16, or 0.41 per cent, to Rs 3,932 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 56,395 lots.
    Guar seed prices on Friday went down by Rs 18 to Rs 3,896 per 10 quintal in futures trade.

    On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for January delivery was trading at Rs 3,896, down by Rs 18, or 0.46 per cent per 10 quintal with an open interest of 2,380 lots.

    For February delivery, the futures prices decreased Rs 16, or 0.41 per cent, to Rs 3,932 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 56,395 lots.

    Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
