This is further to Exchange Notice 20201217-54 dated December 17, 2020 regarding changes in the reporting format of data towards ‘Client Level Cash & Cash Equivalent Balances’ and ‘Holding Statement’. As mentioned in the said circular, the revised formats shall be applicable for the week ending on January 16, 2021 and onwards. 

Exchange is pleased to provide a mock facility to all the members for testing Cash & Cash Equivalent Balances new system and formats. Path for accessing the system is as under:

Exchange has provided certain additional clarifications in the revised format of cash & cash equivalent Balances enclosed as Annexure-A of this circular.

Further, the procedure for submitting the information through the Weekly Cash Balance under Enhanced Supervision module in the BEFS portal during the mock testing is enclosed as Annexure-B. All Members are requested to use this facility, train their staff on the same and ensure preparedness to meet this requirement.

Members will have to submit the data for all calendar days of the week except Sunday on or before the next four trading days of subsequent week.

Members are requested to note that, once the revised format is implemented in the system, all submissions (including pending submission of previous period) shall be submitted in new format.
