Southeast Texas Sen. Brandon Creighton on Friday became one of only two senators asked to chair two committees during this Legislative session.
Creighton, a Republican starting out his second term in the body, will lead the Select Committee on Ports and Higher Education.
He also will serve on the Business and Commerce; Water, Agriculture and Rural Affairs; Jurisprudence and Finance committees.
