German parliament approves changes to competition law to regulate digital platforms

The German parliament has passed the amendment to the competition law to regulate digital platforms. The draft law proposed by the Federal Government to amend the Act against Restraints of Competition (GWB) for a focused, proactive and digital competition law 4.0, and other competition law provisions (GWB Digitisation Act,) was approved by the CDU/CSU, SPD and the Greens.
